Dawn Stearns is St. Hilary’s Director of Ministries and the parish’s Administrative Assistant — two titles that sit side by side under her name on the parish’s own staff list. The first covers the ministries that carry a weekend here: altar servers, Eucharistic ministers, greeters and ushers, hospitality, lectors, and the hall and the kitchen. It is the part of parish life nobody notices when it works — somebody has rostered every one of those people for every Mass. She is also behind the Ministries & Small Group Fair, the October weekend when all of it comes out into Tarantino Hall and across the plaza after each Mass so that people can find where they fit.
